Welcome to Connect For Women - New Zealand’s most diverse social networking organisation launched in March 2023, dedicated to creating an all-inclusive community for women of diverse backgrounds and ages across New Zealand.

It is a platform that provides opportunities for socialising and personal and professional growth. Dr. Sheryl Ziegler says socialising and communication are innate needs for women and Connect For Women has this at it’s heart

providing a welcoming space for women to form meaningful connections and friendships.

Our Orewa Chapter marks the inauguration with plans to establish more Chapters across New Zealand.

Membership is free and our Connect Community Group Gatherings (CCGG) happen 3 times per month on different days and at different times to work in with every women’s busy schedule so come along and try us out!

NB: We do not meet during school holidays.

CONNECT COMMUNITY GROUP GATHERINGS

Connect Community Group Gatherings (CCGG) happen three times each month, offering guided conversation with options covering a diverse range of topics.

When we meet we spend the first half of our time catching up with each other and getting to know our new members with the option to purchase food and drinks to enjoy during the gathering, and to supports the business that hosts us.

The second half of our gathering is dedicated to guided conversation that cultivates curiosity, enables us to learn from the perspectives of other women, foster tolerance, and provide opportunities to identify and eliminate conscious and unconscious biases. Participating in these conversations is optional and cultivates stronger bonds between members. Conversation topics are listed in our Event Calendar for those who are keen to give more thought to their contribution.
